Matthew Silversten

In his role, Matt Silversten is responsible for managing all litigation, claims, and legal disputes involving the company as well as the company’s response to government inquiries and subpoenas. Astellas is a top 20 global pharmaceutical research company based in Tokyo, Japan that is committed to turning innovative science into medical solutions that bring value and hope to patients and their families. Matt also oversees the company’s Global Internal Investigation Program. Prior to joining Astellas in 2011, Matt was an attorney at Jones Day, representing corporate clients in complex litigation and commercial disputes in federal and state courts throughout the United States.
