Timothy E. Kosty

Mr. Kosty has four decades of pharmacy experience, predominantly in the senior management of pharmacy chains and pharmacy benefit managers. He specializes in information technology, claims processing systems, third-party management and financial analysis, client and pharmacy network contracting, rebate contracting, client eligibility and reporting, and plan start-up and implementation. For more than 20 years, Mr. Kosty has been a member of the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs. In this role, he participated in the development of telecommunications standards in the pharmaceutical industry, including the establishment of data elements included in the standards, the discussion of data element values, and the formatting of the transaction. Mr. Kosty has written extensively on topics related to the pharmacy industry. He is a member of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, the National Community Pharmacists Association, the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, and the American Society for Automation in Pharmacy.
